Other reasons to consult

Although I focus my marketing on weight loss, I continue to work as a generalist hypnotherapist, as I have been doing for over 10 years. I still accept clients for many other reasons than weight loss, particularly when they are referred by my trusted referral partners.

The hypnotherapy services provided are self-improvement in nature. They are not psychological or medical services. I do not provide medical or psychotherapeutic diagnosis or treatment.

Achieve a personal dream

After years of practical experience, I've come to realize that when there is a gap between what you consciously want and how you actually behave, it often means that an unconscious force is pulling you in the opposite direction.

The part of your brain that moves you is the emotional part. Hence the word e-motion, like motion, moving. When an emotion is unconsciously repressed, it can push you without you realizing it. I help you reconnect with that hidden emotional energy so it can work toward your dream, not against it. Harness the power of that emotion.

Stress and relaxation

Our way of life is extremely stressful compared to what we are built for as humans. Hypnotherapy is one of the most effective tools to relax. I like to focus on long lasting relaxation, by learning how to build a healthier relationship with your fears.

Better regulate emotions

Let’s make it practical with a real example. A client comes to me with anger issues, mostly because their boundaries were not respected as a child. Their way out is… to learn how to validate their anger. Surprising? It may sound counter intuitive, but in such a case, the key is to realize that anger is meant to give them the strength to defend their boundaries. It’s not a problem to suppress or release, it is a legitimate response. The real work is to harness its energy in a healthy way, with clarity and confidence. Recognize its validity.
After a few sessions, they can look back and say, “Yes, I feel anger, of course I feel angry! And I don't like to feel like that, let’s do something to protect my boundaries !” That emotion stopped being a weight. It became fuel. That can then serve them in the present.

Improve your professional life

I work in partnership with business coaches. Sometimes you know what to do to improve your professional life, like following what your business coach is telling you to do, but for some reason it’s not working. Either you are not actually taking action, or what you are doing has no impact. I focus on long lasting results by working with what drives your behavior. The answer is sometimes obvious, sometimes unconsciously buried.
When your conscious goals and your unconscious self pull in different directions, change feels impossible, sometimes even hopeless.
I’m here to help you reconnect with that hidden emotional energy, so it starts working for you, not against you.

Self-confidence and self-image

Self-love is a learning process. If no one ever gave it to you, it is logical that you don’t have it.

It is never too late to learn how to take care of yourself the way you deserve to be taken care of.

Whether you are a man or a woman, living a traditional or untraditional life, it is still time for you to learn to be a good mother for yourself.

Relationship challenges

Including couples, parent-child, between brothers and sisters, at work...
My approach is fundamentally different from most hypnotists. I specialize in emotional reconnection.
Clients usually have a relationship goal that they haven’t been able to reach through willpower alone.
Apart from willpower, the other part of your brain that actually moves you is your emotional brain, hence the word e-motion”.
This blockage, this disconnection between what you want and what you actually do, is a form of unconscious self-hypnosis. I help you reconnect with that sometimes hidden emotional energy so it works for you, not against you. Learn to enter hypnosis and to get out of it.
The key is not to fight your responses, your unconscious, but to befriend it — to reconnect with the emotion that has been buried or that you are trying to repress, or that is being blamed on you.

Adopt healthier lifestyle habits, improve your motivation, focus, and energy

Fundamentally, if you come to see me, it is because you want to change something in your life… and you probably already tried by yourself, and failed.
There is a teaching in that, that most people are missing : you'd like to move in a certain direction, but you fail. The part of your brain responsible for moving you (or not) is by definition your emotional brain, hence e-motion. “Motion” means moving.
So basically, it means we have to work on your emotions. As a hypnotherapist, I’m trained to help you identify unconscious emotions driving your life, make peace with them, find a way to integrate them, so that they fuel your behavior instead of moving you in the wrong direction.

Adapt to expatriation and acculturation

I know firsthand that expatriation is way more challenging than most people expect. Many give up, or keep going but suffer a lot. Finding your balance is so hard. I can be here for you.

Improve your performance, professional or personal

I like to work with people who are already successful. For example, I worked with a doctor: he was already very successful, had his own practice, a loving family, but he knew he still had problems. For example, he felt like he was drinking too much when celebrating. He had tried to reduce it, but he kept finding himself in the same pattern.
I've seen again and again that true, lasting change happens when we work on the emotional root — not just the behavior itself.
I’m here to help you reconnect with the emotional energy behind your behavior, so it starts working for you, not against you.

In practice, we are often faced with a certain ambiguity. Take the example of a person wishing to quit smoking. This person may consult their doctor, or may not. This reason for seeking hypnotherapy may or may not be considered a medical problem. If you are in doubt, as in this example, we recommend talking to your doctor.
